Job summary

AYR Wellness, Inc. is seeking a Packaging Technician to safely and accurately package and label cannabis products, maintaining product integrity from processing to customers.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, 1 year of cannabis or packaging experience preferred, and the ability to work nights or weekends. You will follow cGMP standards, support production goals, keep clean packaging areas, and document records with QA collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in cannabis or packaging preferred.
• Ability to work nights, weekends or alternate shifts.
• Must pass background checks/fingerprinting as required by state cannabis agencies.
• Must meet age requirement as outlined by state cannabis agencies.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate filling, packaging and labeling of all products ensuring compliance with company, local and state policies and procedures and product specifications.
• Follows cGMP to ensure the safety and efficacy of all products.
• Ensure daily production schedule and goals set by Production Manager/Team Leads are met.
• Maintains cleanliness of packaging equipment and production areas; reports potential contamination.
• Documents line inefficiencies and downtime; collaborates to resolve issues with team.
• Coordinates with Quality Assurance to ensure process parameters and quality testing meet regulatory requirements.
• Ensures timely and accurate completion of production and quality records.
