Job summary

Minnesota State Colleges and Universities is seeking a General Maintenance Worker - Intermittent for Century College in White Bear Lake. The role involves custodial and light maintenance across campus facilities, with no guaranteed schedule and shifts offered as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning methods and floor types.
• Ability to follow simple instructions and work with limited supervision.
• Must possess a current/valid driver’s license.
• Physical ability to lift 40–60 lbs and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine janitorial, custodial, and housekeeping duties across classrooms, labs, offices, study areas, auditoriums, cafeterias, and more to ensure a clean, safe campus.
• Follow safety procedures and properly handle cleaning chemicals with PPE.
• Support event setups, grounds work, and maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Collaborate with Facilities team to ensure safe, clean, and well‑functioning campus facilities.
