Zusammenfassung

Milaca Public Schools is seeking a Custodian, Class I to maintain a safe and clean campus. Duties include cleaning classrooms, restrooms, and common areas, performing seasonal maintenance, and assisting with events.

Reports to Facilities Manager and Head Custodian, and requires a HS diploma or equivalent and a Minnesota driver’s license. Hours vary by school year: 2:45 pm – 11:15 pm during the school year and 6:30 am – 3:00 pm in summer; some weekend events may be required.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Identify and recognize safe building conditions and school safety procedures.
• Monitor building conditions, security and safety by performing inspections and checks.
• Correctly use, post notices, and dispose of chemicals and hazardous waste.
• Follow procedures for use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Comply with all local, state and federal safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, classrooms, offices, cafeterias, and hallways.
• Greet and assist visitors; help with event seating and setup.
• Perform seasonal cleaning and maintenance tasks and assist with special events.
