Job summary

Eaton is hiring an Assembler II for the Cable Tray department in Reno, NV. The role operates on the 3rd shift, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with an hourly base rate of $22.73 plus a $1 shift differential per hour.

You will assist Welders, assemble Cable Tray ladders, and lift materials up to 50 pounds while supporting continuous improvement efforts. The position emphasizes basic assembly tasks, adherence to safety, and collaboration with a lean manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Residence within 50 miles of Reno, NV; relocation not offered.
• No sponsorship for immigration; unable to assist with CPT/OPT/STEM OPT or similar.
• Active-Duty Military candidates are exempt from geographic area limitations.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and stack/band Cable Tray ladders and assist Welders.
• Handle materials up to 50 pounds and work with small parts and fasteners.
• Perform simple repetitive assembly under supervision and follow diagrams.
• Support continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives; maintain 5-S on shop floor.
• Maintain visual management tools and participate in Kaizen events as needed.
