Job summary

Eaton's Sherman, TX location is seeking a Cable Tray Welder on 1st shift to contribute to the welding and fabrication of cable tray products. The role requires operating welding equipment, reading blueprints, and maintaining quality documentation.

The core hours are 6:00am to 2:00pm. This position is physically demanding, requiring lifting up to 75 lbs, possible overtime, and strict adherence to PPE and safety protocols to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Residence within the Sherman, TX area; relocation not offered.
• US work authorization; sponsor not offered.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment for welding and fabrication of products.
• Set up and proficiently operate all welding equipment.
• Troubleshoot machine problems.
• ID and tag shop orders; retrieve/enter data into the system.
• Ensure quality and proper documentation on all parts.
• Maintain components and supplies to operate efficiently.
• Weld components based on print specifications.
