Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
• If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled within four years of employment, and obtain a Bachelor's degree with a major in Nursing or a Master's degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date.

Responsibilities

• Education - Identifies learning needs and attends education programs.
• Evaluation of Care - Identifies expected patient outcomes and participates in care plan evaluation.
• Implementation - Delivers care for patients with complex problems and uses standards and procedures.
• Leadership - Supports goals and fosters collaboration and cost-effective care.
• Patient Assessment - Assesses needs and plans discharge.
• Planning - Prepares plan of care with multidisciplinary resources.
• Research - Stays updated with journals and brings ideas for applicability.
