Job summary

Steuben Foods Inc. is seeking a Blending Operator for the 3rd shift in Elma, NY. The role supports CIP hookups, blending operations, and quality documentation in a fast-paced aseptic manufacturing environment.

Required are a High School diploma, strong math skills, basic CIP knowledge, and the ability to lift 55 lbs. Forklift training is a plus. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including 401K, pension, and more.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong math skills and ability to use a calculator proficiently.
• Knowledge of CIP procedures and GMP requirements.
• Must follow sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards.
• Some mechanical aptitude and ability to use tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Display good work ethics and collaborate with blenders and supervision.
• Follow directions from leads or supervisor and maintain quality records.
• Capable of lifting 55 lbs repetitively and operating blending equipment.
• Learn blending procedures and CIP hookups and maintain documentation.
• Ensure accuracy of weights and blends, and verify ingredients per sheet.
• Maintain clean, sanitary work areas and follow all GMP SOPs.
