Job summary

East West Tea Company is hiring a Blending Shift Lead for the C Shift (10pm-6:30am) in Eugene, OR. The role supports the Blending Supervisor, ensuring quality, safety, and GMP compliance while overseeing blending activities and documentation.

Responsibilities include production leadership, material coordination, and accurate batch documentation, with a strong emphasis on safety and team development on shift.

Qualifications

• Experience with blending and raw materials paperwork/batch tickets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Teams, Outlook and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication; familiarity with GMPs and CFR Part 111 Dietary Supplement Regulations.
• Familiar with supervision basics and leading a team.
• Experience operating electric forklifts and conducting incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Provide production leadership on the blending shift and support the supervisor.
• Coordinate with quality and warehouse teams to resolve materials issues.
• Monitor material locations and labeling, ensure security and accuracy of batch records.
• Lead and mentor blending operators to meet safety, quality, and efficiency goals.
• Learn and use Synergy/Exact for batch tickets and documentation.
