Job summary

East West Tea Company is seeking a Blending Shift Lead in Eugene, OR to support the Blending Supervisor and oversee all blending activities on C Shift (10pm–6:30am). You will promote company values, ensure safety, quality, GMP compliance, and accurate documentation throughout your shift.

Responsibilities include leading a team, coordinating with Quality and Warehouse, maintaining material flow, and balancing the blending schedule to keep production on track.

Qualifications

• Experience with blending processes and batch tickets.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Teams, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiar with GMPs and CFR Part 111 Dietary Supplement Regulations.
• Familiarity with supervision basics and leading a team.
• Operation of electric forklifts.
• Ability to perform incident investigations and documentation.
• Analytical and strategic thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead blending operators on efficiency, safety, quality and costs with safety as the primary focus.
• Maintain leadership presence in the supervisor's absence.
• Collaborate with quality and warehouse teams to resolve material issues.
• Monitor material locations and ensure proper labeling and containment.
• Balance blending schedule to keep production running smoothly.
• Ensure facility security and personnel safety; report incidents and document root causes.
• Navigate systems to print/close batch tickets and maintain accurate records.
• Collect and maintain personnel performance documentation.
• Record daily totals, changeovers and waste; ensure real-time batch documentation.
