Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an Assembly Technician for blade components in North Dakota. The role involves following detailed work instructions, wearing PPE and a respirator, and handling materials and tools in a controlled environment.

You will perform cable routing tasks, secure parts with zip ties, and ensure dust control while maintaining 5S standards. The position runs Mon-Fri nights, offering competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Able to operate basic hand tools, power tools and heavy machinery.
• Comfortable standing for long periods in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions and wear required PPE and respirator.
• Remove access tape and materials from the lightening cable in the blade.
• Apply zip ties to secure the lightening cable to the web.
• Remove stay bolts from the ring at the blade root.
• Insert plugs into bushings around the root to minimize dust.
• Two workers place a donut inside the blade using sika.
• Use hand tools or scraper to even out sika at the edge of the donut.
• Maintain 5S standards.
