Job summary

Sheridan is hiring a Manufacturing Operator for Bindery and Ancillary Machines on the 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM). We’ll train you to operate high-speed paper sheeting and bindery equipment, with overtime opportunities and full-time status.

You will join a team producing books, catalogs, and printed materials. No bindery experience is required—training will be provided to help you grow and build a long-term career in print manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 18+ years old or older.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfortable using basic tools.
• Able to read basic job instructions and measurements.
• Reliable team member with quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run and maintain small bindery equipment (sewers, drills, shrink wrap, board cutter, box maker, mechanical binding).
• Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality.
• Work with the team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues to keep production moving.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace.
