Job summary

Sheridan is hiring for a Manufacturing Operator on the 3rd shift to operate bindery and ancillary machines. Training is provided, and you will learn to set up and run equipment, perform quality checks, and assist in meeting daily production goals in a factory setting.

You’ll work with a team, follow safety procedures, and gain hands-on experience in a print manufacturing environment with opportunities for overtime and career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Mechanically inclined and able to use basic tools.
• Able to read basic job instructions and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up, run and maintain small bindery equipment, including sewers, drills, shrink wrap, board cutter, box maker and mechanical binding.
• Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving.
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.
