Job summary

Gila River Casinos is seeking a Beverage Assistant Manager for the Grave Shift in Chandler, AZ. The role oversees beverage operations, coaches staff, and ensures adherence to quality standards and safety policies in a casino setting.

You will supervise, train and mentor beverage team members, promote excellent guest service, and help achieve department goals while representing the GILA WAY in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in food and beverage management required.
• Experience working in a fast-paced high-volume bar, restaurant or nightclub is preferred.
• Must acquire and maintain a valid Gila River Environmental Health Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Certification, BBP and other required trainings.
• Ability to demonstrate the GILA WAY: Greet, Interact, Listen, Appreciate guests.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and provides excellent guest service experiences to both internal and external guests.
• Responsible for all aspects of effective beverage management within a casino environment.
• Ensure total compliance with all responsible alcohol service policies.
• Assist with supervising team members on proper alcohol handling, cash handling and safety rules.
• Maintains a dependable attendance record with minimal absences or lateness.
• Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.
