Job summary

State of Minnesota is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician at CBHH Annandale for night shifts (9:30pm–7:30am), about 30 hours/week. The role involves direct patient care, admissions/discharges, and teamwork to develop treatment plans in a small inpatient setting.

The position requires English literacy, good interpersonal skills, and a valid driver's license; experience in mental health is preferred. A hiring bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English and maintain records/documentation.
• Strong human relations skills to interact with service recipients.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate admission and discharge procedures for patients at the CBHH.
• Provide compassionate physical and mental health care to help patients achieve treatment goals.
• Maintain a clean and therapeutic environment, including housekeeping tasks.
• Participate as a member of the treatment team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Maintain a hazard-free environment by following safety standards and responding to emergencies.
• Assist with the collection of monitoring and evaluation data to improve patient care services.
• Participate in training and quality improvement activities to enhance patient care.
