Job summary

State of Minnesota is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician / Human Services Technician in Fergus Falls for Part-Time, rotating shifts from 6:30am-3:00pm or 2:00pm-10:30pm. This role supports inpatient psychiatric services in CBHH Fergus Falls and requires engagement with patients and adherence to safety protocols.

Minimum qualifications include English literacy, strong human relations skills, and a valid driver’s license. A hiring incentive up to $2,500 may be available.

Qualifications

• Read and write English sufficiently to understand directions and maintain records.
• Have good human relations skills to interact with service recipients.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Background checks and TB clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate admission and discharge functions.
• Provide optimal physical and mental health care.
• Maintain environment of care.
• Participate on the treatment team to develop/implement patient plans.
• Perform delegated treatments and procedures within policy.
• Maintain a hazard-free environment and respond to emergencies.
• Perform housekeeping tasks to keep a healthful environment.
• Assist with data collection for monitoring and evaluation.
• Participate in in-service training and quality improvement.
