Job summary

Houses of Hope is hiring a full-time Behavioral Health Technician for the night shift (1:00am-9:00am) at our halfway houses in Lincoln, Nebraska. You will join a multidisciplinary team and supervise individuals in service, supporting their recovery journey.

The role requires CPR/First Aid certification (training provided), a valid driver’s license with insurance, and being at least 21 years old. Benefits include health coverage, leave, and retirement plan options.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid required (will provide training at no cost).
• Proof of valid Driver’s License and insurance is required.
• Minimum age of 21

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming, trauma-informed and safe environment for individuals in service.
• Complete intakes and provide initial orientation to program and facility.
• Administer drug/alcohol screenings and perform room and property searches.
• Complete rounds to ensure compliance with program rules.
• Facilitate and reinforce positive communication with individuals.
• Process discharges and follow protocols if individuals relapse.
• Abide by federal confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
• Adhere to the agency’s organizational code of ethics.
