Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician for the third shift (11pm-7am) at the Fort Collins, CO inpatient rehab. You will supervise daily residential operations, support the BHT team, and help maintain a warm recovery environment for clients.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification preferred, and a minimum of one year sobriety if in recovery. Strong leadership and empathy are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or preferred.
• CPR certification preferred and valid driver's license.
• One year sobriety if in recovery.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character modeling recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (intake, supervision, events, transport, meals, medications).
• Train and support BHT team in operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns to Lead Behavioral Health Technician as needed.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a positive recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance with Avenues rules and procedures.
