NRT | Foundry Treatment Center in Broomfield, CO seeks a Behavioral Health Tech II to provide direct patient care with an intermediate understanding of substance use and behavioral health. You will interact therapeutically, support groups, and assist in crisis de-escalation.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1–3 years of related experience, and CPR/QMAP certifications or the ability to obtain them within 30–60 days. Valid driver’s license and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years experience in substance use disorder or behavioral health required.
• CPR and QMAP certifications required, or ability to obtain within 30-60 days of hire.
• CPI preferred.
• Pursuing CAT preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist with admits by following orientation protocols.
• Assist in searches, inspections, checks, and investigations.
• Align with Medical and Clinical team’s treatment plan.
• Communicate with supervisors and clinicians regarding client issues.
• Identify emergency signals and respond appropriately.
• Document client notes in appropriate systems.
• Ensure client engagement in programming and activities.
• Provide activity and transportation for clients.
• Administer UA or BA tests as needed and document.
• Carry out CIWA, COWS and Vitals.
• Complete routine checks.
• Monitor/ administer medications and respond to PRN requests.
• Conduct medication counts.
• Facilitate client group sessions and document.
• Mentor new staff and shadowing.
• Shift exchange discussions on client status.
• Create a safe, client-focused environment.
• Maintain HIPAA and 42 CFR compliance.
