Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive nursing assessments of client medical needs.
• Records and transcribes physician orders and STAT orders.
• Communicates care plan observations to the treatment team.
• Documents medication administration per policy.
• Coordinates pharmacy and lab orders with vendors as needed.
• Maintains control of medications and security of controlled substances.
• Administers medications and injections per orders.
• Collects lab samples as ordered and documents results.
• Prepares clients for discharge with instructions.
