Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK is seeking a Registered Nurse for Psychiatric Behavioral Health on the night shift. The RN will function as caregiver, decison-maker, advocate and teacher, applying the nursing process to assess needs, implement plans, and evaluate outcomes for diverse patient populations.

The role involves 24-hour assessments, interdisciplinary collaboration, discharge planning, and documentation. Requires Oklahoma RN license, ADN, BLS (ACLS as needed).

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Oklahoma
• ADN required; BSN preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS if not current
• Basic computer skills expected

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan nursing care using the nursing process
• Provide patient care, safety and confidentiality
• Complete nursing assessments within 24 hours of admission
• Coordinate and communicate with interdisciplinary team
• Document progress notes and assessments accurately
• Participate in psychotherapy and educational seminars as appropriate
• Discharge planning and patient education throughout care
• Supervise unlicensed staff as assigned
