The role emphasizes assessment, documentation, patient education, and safety. The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active RN license in an applicable state or a compact license, plus BLS HCP certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• RN licensure in applicable state or compact state.
• BLS HCP certification.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Complete admitting and shift assessments.
• Analyze assessment data and notify physician of changes.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary treatment plans.
• Document nursing care and adhere to policies.
• Record physician orders accurately.
• Monitor patient safety and environment.
• Educate patients and families; document in EHR.
• Apply evidence-based nursing practices.
