Job summary

St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Behavioral Health team on the day shift.

This role provides direct patient care, assessment, planning and coordination within an interdisciplinary team to support recovery and safety. Responsibilities include documenting progress, developing individualized treatment plans, participating in psychotherapy and group sessions, and educating patients and families about treatment options.

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma RN license is required.
• ADN is required; BSN preferred.
• Current BLS is required; ACLS acceptable.
• Secure training within 60 days of hiring, renewal annually thereafter.
• 1–3 years experience as a Mental Health RN preferred.
• Must complete pre-employment assessment.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and coordinate nursing care for Behavioral Health patients.
• Assess and reassess patient needs and update care plans within established timelines.
• Document progress notes, assessments and treatment plans.
• Participate in psychotherapy, group, and family sessions as part of the care team.
• Coordinate treatment with physicians, therapists and other health professionals.
