Willingway in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Behavioral Health Associate I for a full-time night shift. The role involves 12-hour shifts from 7pm to 7:30am, including every other weekend, and is on-site at the facility.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary treatment team, monitor client behaviors, provide care, supervision and crisis response as needed. Responsibilities include safety checks, conducting rounds, documenting in charts, facilitating groups, supporting treatment goals, and coordinating

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months or more experience with the specific population preferred.
• Knowledge of common psychiatric disorders and dual diagnosis preferred.
• CPR certification and de-escalation training required.
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Responsabilités

• Maintains a safe, structured environment and supervises clients.
• Performs safety checks and adheres to supervision guidelines.
• Checks contraband and manages client belongings.
• Interacts with clients, notes observations, and encourages participation in therapy.
• Facilitates educational and rehabilitative groups on social and coping skills.
• Records vital signs and reports changes to the charge nurse.
• Charts in client records accurately and timely.
• Applies de-escalation techniques for client emotions and behavior.
• Assists with unit organization, admissions, discharge, and incident reporting.
• Arranges or coordinates transportation as required.
