Job summary

Proper Beverage Company in Hudsonville, MI is seeking a Batching Technician for a full-time, 3rd shift role (Sun night–Thu night, 8pm–4:30am). You will ensure accurate and efficient mixing of ingredients to meet production requirements and support a high-quality beverage lineup.

You will work with a team to follow batch recipes, monitor equipment, and maintain records while upholding GMP, HACCP, and SQF standards and collaborating with maintenance and QA teams to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of batching equipment, systems, and processes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Solid understanding of food safety regulations and quality systems (e.g., HACCP, SQF).
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize production deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Follow batching process with accurate measurement and mixing per recipe and schedules.
• Coordinate with Batching Supervisor to ensure timely ingredients and materials.
• Monitor equipment, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with maintenance for repairs and preventive maintenance.
