Job summary

EVCO Plastics is seeking an Automation Technician for the night shift to keep production running reliably by maintaining and optimizing automation and control systems. You will diagnose issues, perform routine maintenance, and implement focused improvements while coordinating with technicians and engineering.

You will document updates and ensure safe, stable operation, with a focus on reducing downtime and supporting smooth changeovers across shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming and control systems.
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues on automated equipment and implement fixes.
• Perform routine maintenance on controls hardware and software.
• Apply focused improvements to automation performance.
