Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. in Walker, MI is seeking a Maintenance Associate to keep automated assembly lines operating efficiently.

You will support shift operations as requested by the shift leader/production manager and help develop long‑term predictive/preventative maintenance plans for all assembly equipment. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with a 2-year technical degree preferred, and about 2 years of related experience in medical devices or pharmaceuticals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; two-year technical degree preferred.
• 2 years of experience in related medical devices/pharmaceutical maintenance.
• Familiarity with FDA Quality System Regulation, cGMP and ISO 9002.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair assembly lines and related equipment.
• Assist shift lead to maintain product quality through proper operation.
• Maintain spare parts inventory with cataloging.
• Notify shift lead of maintenance issues and downtime promptly.
• Review line history to improve efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Keep equipment log books up to date with repairs.
