Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a maintenance professional in Lebanon, TN to keep our facility and equipment running smoothly on the 3rd shift. You will handle inspections, preventive maintenance, and coordinate with IT, HR, and operations to resolve issues.

The role requires 3–5 years in a maintenance/automation environment, hands‑on troubleshooting, and the ability to work overtime while adhering to safety policies. Eligible benefits include health, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in maintenance, automation or similar technical role.
• Experience with automated systems and/or conveyors.
• Prior warehouse, distribution, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
• Hands‑on troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance skills.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills to track and manage work.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Commitment to safety policies and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of the facility, grounds, building systems, equipment, and AutoStore system; monitor performance and respond to issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, generators, and other equipment).
• Maintain tests and service for Fire/Life Safety systems; ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain facility appearance and functionality, including lighting and general upkeep.
• Support day‑to‑day facility needs, associate moves, and setup tasks.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and ongoing services.
• Maintain organized, clean work areas and store tools properly.
• Keep maintenance records and documentation for building systems and equipment.
• Identify safety hazards and follow PPE requirements.
