Utz Quality Foods is seeking an Automation Line Operator Lead at our Kindig Lane facility. This full-time role runs Friday through Sunday, 5:30 PM–5:30 AM, with overtime as needed to support production.

You will lead daily line operations, monitor performance, and support basic maintenance of robotic palletizers and conveyors, ensuring safe, efficient production and guiding team members toward continuous improvement.

Qualificações

• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing or food packaging preferred.
• Comfortable working with robotic arms, conveyors, and automated systems.
• Basic understanding of alarms, machine interfaces, and troubleshooting methods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures/schedules.
• Forklift or pallet jack certification.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure safe operation of the Automation area by verifying LOTO procedures and safety protocols.
• Supervise and deploy Automation Operators, Jackpot Lane Operators, and Forklift Handlers.
• Serve as primary contact during shifts to coordinate with P3, P4, and RDC Operation.
• Monitor metrics and track performance to identify improvements.
• Oversee inspections and cleaning at shift start/end and maintain 5s standards.
• Assist with changes to case dimensions, fill/count levels, and pallet configurations.
• Log mechanical issues and downtime; perform light maintenance and troubleshooting.
