Job summary

Utz Quality Foods is seeking an Automation Line Operator Lead for the Kindig Lane facility. This full-time role runs Friday through Sunday from 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM, with overtime as needed to meet production demand.

You will lead day-to-day line operations and support robotic palletizers and conveyors, ensuring safe, efficient production. You will supervise operators, monitor performance, and collaborate with leadership to drive continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in manufacturing or food packaging preferred.
• Technical training in automation or robotics is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of the Automation area and observe LOTO procedures.
• Supervise and deploy Automation Operators and Forklift personnel.
• Act as primary on-shift contact to coordinate with leadership for timely issue resolution.
