Jobtailor in Johns Creek, GA seeks an experienced Automation/Controls Engineer to lead design, development, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems. You will apply control theory, modeling, and Beckhoff/TwinCAT expertise to optimize reliability and performance on manufacturing lines.

On-site role requiring 36–48 hours weekly, night shift rotation, and strict GxP compliance; relocation sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering or related field.
Experience in automation control systems preferred.
Proficiency in English communication (reading/writing/speaking).

Responsibilities

Lead and execute complex tasks involving the design, development, implementation, operation, and maintenance of instrumentation, electrical, and automation control systems
Design and support automation control systems across diverse manufacturing and engineering applications
Apply mathematical modeling and analyze system dynamics to develop effective control strategies
Use control theory and advanced engineering principles to optimize system reliability, efficiency, and performance
Support manufacturing operations through automation design, system configuration, and technical troubleshooting
Contribute to complex engineering projects and make decisions influencing outcomes and system performance
Evaluate and implement advancements in automation, controls, and system design technologies
Ensure GxP compliance through SOP adherence, accurate documentation, and quality standards
Support organizational compliance and continuous improvement initiatives
