Baptist Health Jacksonville is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for the Surgical Oncology Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This full-time night-shift leadership role requires an experienced RN with progressive care, acute care, medical-surgical and post-surgical nursing background.

The Assistant Nurse Manager will work with the Nurse Manager to lead daily operations, mentor staff, and ensure delivery of patient-centered care in a fast-paced PCU environment.

Qualificações

• Current RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in nursing leadership and management.
• Background in progressive care, acute care, medical-surgical nursing and post-surgical patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with the daily operations and clinical leadership of the unit.
• Lead, coach, and support Registered Nurses and patient care staff.
• Promote safe, high-quality, evidence-based patient care for adult medical and surgical patients.
• Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, discharges, staffing assignments and patient throughput.
• Serve as a clinical resource for complex patient care and support interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
• Provide direct patient care as needed while maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.
