Baptist Health in Jacksonville is seeking an experienced RN to join as Assistant Nurse Manager for the Surgical Oncology Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville.

You will lead daily operations, mentor staff, coordinate admissions/discharges, and drive quality improvement while delivering patient-centered care on a fast-paced unit. Night shift leadership role with Magnet-designated health system and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
• Post-surgical nursing experience.
• Progressive acute care nursing experience.
• Leadership experience such as Charge Nurse, Assistant Nurse Manager or Clinical Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations and clinical leadership of the unit.
• Lead, coach, and support Registered Nurses and patient care staff.
• Promote safe, high-quality patient care for adult medical and surgical patients.
• Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, discharges, staffing assignments, and throughput.
• Serve as a clinical resource for complex patient care and support interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
• Provide direct patient care as needed while maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.
