Job summary

Gulf Island seeks an Assembly Technician to assemble and install panels, measure and cut insulation, and secure components for panel assemblies. Work as part of a team using clamps, impact drivers, and drills while handling Rockwool, perforated sheet metal, and plastic.

Responsibilities include following prints, ensuring quality, and maintaining safety and cleanliness on the worksite.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in construction, drywall or framing.
• Familiarity with using clamps, impact drivers, and drills.
• Familiarity with perforated sheet metal and hardware in assembly.
• Team-oriented with ability to work in a group.
• Pre-employment drug screen and physical; background check required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install panels, ensure proper alignment and secure attachment.
• Measure, cut and install Rockwool insulation into panels.
• Perform Bat installation (pink insulation) to specifications.
• Use clamps to hold materials and drive fasteners with impact drivers/drills.
