Job summary

The Assembly Technician I - 3rd Shift at Eaton Corporation in Greenwood, SC is responsible for assembling Low Voltage Assemblies while meeting daily production goals with emphasis on safety and quality. You will work with fixtures and tools and read electrical/mechanical drawings to complete tasks accurately.

You will also perform material handling, labeling, and final testing, ensuring finished products meet specifications.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 3 months of industrial manufacturing experience.
Minimum of 3 months of experience using hand and air tools.
Eaton does not provide immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
No relocation assistance is available.
Only candidates within a 50 mile radius of Greenwood, SC will be considered.

Responsibilities

Assemble Low Voltage Assemblies and achieve daily production goals with focus on safety, quality and productivity.
Use fixtures, gauges, and various assembly tools to assemble, adjust, or repair components.
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings to perform tasks accurately.
Follow SOPs and supervisor instructions; retrieve and stage materials for production.
Label products and prepare finished assemblies for shipment or storage; perform quality checks.
