Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is seeking an Assembly Technician I for the 3rd shift in Greenwood, SC. Core hours are 11:30 pm–7:30 am, Monday to Friday, with a $18.11/hour base rate plus $1.00 shift differential and eligibility for a variable incentive.

The Assembler I will focus on safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity while assembling Low Voltage Assemblies and supporting Lean Line operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 months of industrial manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 3 months of experience using hand and air tools.
• Eaton does not provide immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
• No relocation assistance is available; candidates within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC will be considered.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with team members.
• Flexible and open to changes in processes or tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe 5S+ workplace.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble Low Voltage Assemblies and meet daily production goals.
• Allocate materials and prepare raw materials for assembly and testing.
• Perform electrical testing and prepare finished products for shipment.
• Operate various tools and understand electrical/mechanical drawings.
• Follow SOPs and work with team to support Lean Line operations.
• Ensure quality checks and safety compliance throughout the shift.
