Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division in Greenwood, SC seeks an Assembly Technician I for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7:30 am–3:30 pm). The position pays $18.11 per hour and includes eligibility for a variable incentive program.

You will assemble Low Voltage Assemblies, perform material prep, testing, and final preparation for shipment. You will read drawings and SOPs, perform quality checks, and collaborate with a team across Lean Line, Flex Line, and PowerWave2 operations, while following safety policies and

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • 3 months of industrial manufacturing experience.
  • 3 months of experience using hand and air tools.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, adjust, and repair assemblies using fixtures, gauges, hand tools, and power tools; operate layout, drilling, sawing, punching, riveting, caulking, and painting equipment as required.
  • Retrieve and deliver materials to the assembly line as needed to support production.
  • Apply identification labels and prepare assemblies for shipment or storage during final assembly.
  • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, standard operating procedures, and method sheets; follow written and verbal supervisor instructions.
  • Perform visual inspections and quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications.
  • Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and WSRA requirements.
  • Flex to other assembly areas or perform other tasks as needed to support operations.
