Job summary

Permatex in Solon, OH is hiring a detail-oriented Assembly/Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (Sun–Thu, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM). Pay is $17-$19/hr based on experience, plus a $1/hr shift differential.

You will assemble components, operate filling and packaging equipment, and maintain daily logs of production quantities, scrap, and time while following safety and quality guidelines. No prior experience is required; on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Must speak/read/write English.
• Basic math skills required.
• Computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead operators on production line equipment.
• Follow Environmental, Health, Safety, Quality and Production standards.
• Perform minor set-ups, cleaning and operation of filling and packaging machines.
• Maintain daily production logs for quantity, scrap, production time and traceability.
• Recommend safety improvements as needed.
• Ensure housekeeping and equipment standards are met.
• Assist in training temporary workers to pick/place/pack/palletize.
• Operate cardboard baler, plastic baler, compactor, carton erector, pallet jack, taper/tape gun.
• Provide support to other line teams as needed.
