Job summary

Dunmore Asphalt, a division of H&K Group, Inc., is hiring for an Asphalt Groundsperson/Maintenance on the 2nd shift. The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and teamwork within a heavy industrial setting in Dunmore, PA.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, plus maintenance experience and a willingness to operate heavy equipment and loading machinery. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage and development programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience/training.
• Combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Experience with maintenance and safety compliance is preferred.
• MSHA or safety certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Performs all work according to MSHA and H&K Safety policies.
• Perform all work in a safe and professional manner.
• Perform plant maintenance.
• Maintain clean work areas including catwalks, walk-ways and general plant area.
• Proactively learn plant functions and operations.
• Obtain all knowledge to complete assigned tasks.
• Take direction from and work in a team with all other site personnel.
• Cross train to learn all jobs of plant and be able to substitute when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
