Job summary

Iovance Biotherapeutics is seeking an Aseptic Manufacturing Technician I for night shift on a contract-to-hire basis in Philadelphia, PA. The role supports autologous TIL manufacturing, including suite prep, material transfer, environmental monitoring, BSC duties, and final product handling.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and 0–1 year GMP biopharma experience, good English, and proficiency with MS Office. The position involves weekend/evening shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 0–1 year of experience in GMP biopharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong reading/writing in English for GMP documentation.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Ability to perform arithmetic calculations and work in a fast-paced team.
• Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, and FDA regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand and proficiently execute GMP cell therapy manufacturing processes.
• Complete training and maintain training documentation.
• Adhere to GMP, SOPs and GDP; ensure quality standards.
• Preps: materials stocking, kit prep, room readiness, and equipment cleaning.
• BSCR/EM duties: BSC runner tasks, balance checks, pumps, welders, incubator use.
• Perform environmental monitoring and logbook reviews.
• Work schedule includes potential weekends, evenings, and holidays.
