Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Main Campus in Cleveland is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesiologists and the operating room team. You will assist with equipment maintenance, sterilization, and setup for procedures.

You will work nights from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM with on-call, weekend, and holiday rotations, handling stock, inventory, and specimen transport while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year experience in a healthcare setting or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science can substitute one year of healthcare work experience.
• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Stock carts and surgical suites with required supplies.
• Assist with airway management and equipment needs.
• Transport blood samples and retrieve blood products.
• Sterilize, decontaminate and calibrate anesthesia equipment.
• Maintain records and monitor orders and equipment.
• Prepare anesthesia equipment for procedures and support anesthesia providers.
