Job summary

JRJ Group is seeking a Night Shift Aggregate Equipment Operator to safely operate heavy equipment and support aggregate production on a night shift. The role emphasizes equipment care, material quality, and strict adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced plant setting.

Ideal candidates have prior aggregates/mining experience or a strong operating background, with willingness to train the right candidate and flexibility for overtime and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Prior experience in aggregates, mining, construction, or similar industrial environment preferred.
• Ability to work night shift, overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate front-end loaders and other mobile equipment to feed material into the aggregate processing plant.
• Maintain production flow by managing material levels and plant feed.
• Monitor material quality and report issues impacting production or specification.
• Communicate with plant operators and supervisors to coordinate production needs.
• Perform routine pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections.
• Identify wear, damage, or safety concerns and ensure they are documented and addressed.
• Follow all safety policies, MSHA guidelines, and environmental regulations.
• Assist with cleanup and housekeeping of working areas; support plant operations during startups, shutdowns and shift changes.
