Job summary

JRJ Group is seeking a Maintenance Operator for a night shift to operate and maintain an aggregate plant in New Holland, Ohio. The role involves running a front-end loader, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring safety compliance in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year experience in an aggregate setting or related field, with mechanical aptitude and welding/fabrication basics. Overtime and weekend shifts are required.EOE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or HSE required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in a plant or industrial setting, especially aggregates, preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and flexible shifts.
• EOE/M/F/Disabled/Veteran/DFSP.

Responsibilities

• Operate a front-end loader safely and efficiently to feed material into the aggregate processing plant.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and complete daily preventative maintenance and safety checks.
• Use PLCs for basic operation and system monitoring as required.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair plant equipment including screens, conveyors, crushers, and motors.
• Weld, cut, and fabricate to repair or reinforce plant components as needed.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools and maintain them in safe condition.
• Comply with safety policies and environmental regulations and participate in safety meetings.
