Job summary

UNC Health in Raleigh is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Hospitalists Raleigh team. You will practice within your privileges, collaborating with a supervising physician to deliver high-quality, cost-efficient care.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, developing treatment plans, ordering tests, educating patients and families, and contributing to quality-improvement initiatives and care delivery projects.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (APRN, PA) in North Carolina.
• Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Clinical: Obtains health history, performs physical, develops differential diagnoses, and creates treatment plans with appropriate pharmacological agents.
• Education: Educates clients/families and collaborates with clinicians to promote continuity of care.
• Leadership: Provides instruction and participates in community outreach and interdisciplinary teams.
• Professional: Communicates respectfully with patients and team members, and shares responsibility for workload.
• Quality/Research: Engages in continuous quality improvement and contributes to protocol development.
