Job summary

East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) seeks Adjunct Clinical RN & PN Nursing Instructors for all clinical sites during the spring rotation, January 4, 2027 through April 30, 2027. There is a high need for night shift coverage across west valley sites.

Under supervision, the Night Adult Adjunct Clinical Instructor will oversee and mentor nursing students in clinical practice settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, and other centers, providing hands-on instruction and evaluating student

Qualifications

• Current Arizona Registered Nurse license in good standing or multi-state privilege to practice in Arizona.
• BSN degree from an accredited university or college and 3 years of experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care.
• Graduate degree in nursing from an accredited university with at least 2 years of experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and mentor nursing students in clinical practice settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, medical centers, rehab centers, and other sites.
• Provide hands-on instruction, evaluate student skills, and ensure adherence to established nursing practices and standards.
• Help students develop skills to transition into professional nursing roles upon graduation.

Education

Arizona RN license

BSN + 3 years direct patient care

Graduate degree in nursing + 2 years direct patient care
