Job summary

Grand Canyon University invites applications for Adjunct Clinical Nursing faculty. This clinical adjunct position requires travel within the Sun City, AZ area to observe student performance during clinical rotations, and is a night-shift assignment.

You will reinforce didactic content and nursing skills for pre-licensure students, collaborate with faculty to evaluate progress, and participate in grading written and clinical performance check-offs.

Qualifications

• MSN preferred or BSN with evidence of graduate credits or national certification.
• Two years' pediatric clinical nursing experience.
• Active, current RN license valid in multiple states (compact).
• Must pass drug test and competency testing.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with students.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce didactic content and nursing skills for pre-licensure students.
• Collaborate with faculty to evaluate progress toward clinical objectives.
• Grade written exams and clinical performance check-offs.
• Stay current with trends in nursing practice.
• Maintain compliance with program accreditation requirements.
• Travel to GCU student sites to observe student performance.
• Support university program and community service in line with institutional philosophy.
• Model professional ethics and Grand Canyon University's mission.
