Grand Canyon University invites applications for Adjunct Clinical Nursing faculty members who are enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge with our Nursing students. This clinical adjunct position requires travel within the Sun City, AZ area to directly observe student performance, when scheduled for clinical rotations.

You will reinforce didactic content, collaborate with content-area faculty to provide expert evaluation and documentation of student progress toward clinical objectives,

Qualifications

• MSN preferred; or BSN with 9 graduate credits or national certification related to the content area being taught.
• 2 years' recent pediatric clinical nursing experience.
• Active, current, multi-state RN license; drug test and competency testing required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce didactic content and teach knowledge and skills for pre-licensure nursing.
• Collaborate with content area faculty to evaluate and document student progress toward clinical objectives.
• Participate in grading written and clinical performance check-offs.
• Remain current with trends in nursing practice and maintain accreditation requirements.
• Uphold the university's Doctrinal Statement and Mission while supporting community service.
