Job summary

TriHealth invites applications for Acute Care Technician (ACT) II in the Inpatient Care Unit. This part-time night position supports high-quality patient care under RN supervision, combining direct patient care with clerical and safety tasks to ensure smooth unit operations.

Qualifications

• Reading and math ability appropriate to the position.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• High School Education or equivalent.
• Age 17 with work permit.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care and complete assigned tasks safely and on time under RN supervision.
• Communicate respectfully and effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team; assist with phone calls, call lights, and unit flow.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support medical record processes, including downtime procedures.
• Promote a safe environment by following Infection Control policies and reporting hazards or events promptly.
• Assist with equipment, supplies, and environmental needs; ensure items are clean, functional, and ready for use.
• Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and openness to ongoing learning and improvement.
