Job summary

Prisma Health in Laurens County Medical Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting, using evidence-based practices and maintaining safety, regulatory compliance, and high quality outcomes.

You will assess patients, develop and revise individualized plans of care with patients and families, coordinate with the healthcare team, support discharge planning, and participate in performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• One year experience as a registered nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical direction for patient care in the acute inpatient setting.
• Completes nursing assessments and plans of care with patient and/or family involvement.
• Develops and updates individualized plans of care based on patient needs and collaborates with the provider and interdisciplinary team.
• Ensures continuity of care and effective communication during transitions/discharge.
• Maintains patient safety and contributes to quality improvement initiatives.
