Job summary

Prisma Health seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide clinical direction in an acute inpatient setting at Laurens County Hospital's Emergency Department. You will perform assessments, develop and adjust care plans with the healthcare team, and ensure patient safety and quality of care.

Responsibilities include coordinating care, documenting accurately, and maintaining compliance with licensure, policies, and regulatory requirements. Weekend, holiday, and on-call work may be required.

Qualifications

• Education - Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One year experience as a registered nurse.
• Holds a current RN license recognized by the NCSBN Compact or state license.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical direction and nursing care in an acute inpatient setting.
• Performs comprehensive nursing assessments and develops patient-centered plans of care.
• Ensures patient safety, accurate documentation, and adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
• Delivers care within the RN scope of practice and collaborates with the healthcare team.
