Job summary

Banner University Medical Center Phoenix is seeking a dynamic Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join the Nocturnal Critical Care team. The ACNP will directly manage critically ill patients and perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.

Ideal candidates will hold an ACNP certification, active CPR/BLS/ACLS, DEA license for controlled substances, and have critical care experience; new grads with ICU exposure are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Current ACNP certification.
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS.
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substances.
• Experienced or new grads with critical care experience encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide nocturnal critical care management of acutely ill patients.
• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications as part of patient care.
• Educate, consult, and contribute to research within the team.
